49 horas en Kinshasa: crónica desde la Embajada de España
El 22 de marzo de 2007 varios proyectiles de artillería impactaban en el edificio que alberga la Embajada de España en la República Democrática del Congo. El ejército regular congoleño se enfrentaba a las fuerzas del exvicepresidente de la República, y en su día señor de la guerra, Jean-Pierre Bemba. La Embajada de España no era un blanco, o no tenía que haberlo sido, pero se convirtió en blanco de la sinrazón. El entonces embajador de España en la República Democrática del Congo, Miguel Fernández-Palacios, protagonizó aquellas cuarenta y nueve dramáticas horas, en las que tuvo que tomar decisiones en una situación límite, y que ahora narra en estas páginas.
