Chile-Colombia: diálogos sobre sus trayectorias históricas
Este libro busca establecer un diálogo inicial entre historiadores colombianos y chilenos del siglo XXI con el fin de dar a conocer, en ambos países, problemáticas históricas que puedan ser complementadas. Se pretende así avanzar en el futuro hacia miradas más integradas que permitan la construcción de narrativas en las que las experiencias históricas chilenas, colombianas y, por qué no decirlo, americanas, puedan ser conectadas, algo que ya se logra parcialmente en algunos capítulos de este libro. Con este propósito fueron seleccionados cuatro grandes temas: la historio- grafía; identidad, nación y nacionalismo; economía y Estado, y, finalmente, modernidad, desarrollo e intelectualidad.
