En este segundo volumen se aborda, al igual que el primero, el estudio teórico y práctico de transitorios en circuitos lineales de primer y segundo orden, tanto en el dominio del tiempo como en el dominio de Laplace. Destaca esta segunda obra por la gran variedad de ejemplos prácticos que incluye, estando presentes en los mismos numerosos componentes habituales de los circuitos eléctricos: por supuesto resistencias, bobinas y condensadores, pero también fuentes dependientes, bobinas acopladas e interruptores que modifican la topología y conectividad de los circuitos. Se aborda el análisis cuando las excitaciones al circuito son tanto fuentes de continua como de alterna, los dos grandes tipos dominantes de señales eléctricas, si bien se incluyen también otras excitaciones como las de tipo impulso, estas últimas de gran relevancia en numerosos casos prácticos. Las representaciones gráficas incluidas en la obra enriquecen de forma notable los ejemplos estudiados, facilitando al lector la compresión de los regímenes dinámicos
