La acción de tutela es uno de los mecanismos más utilizados en Colombia para acceder a la justicia, pues ofrece a los ciudadanos una vía rápida y efectiva para proteger sus derechos fundamentales. Es tan utilizada que se interponen cerca de seiscientas mil al año, excepto entre el 2020 y el 2021 cuando esta cantidad disminuyó a causa de la pandemia. El Laboratorio de Diseño para la Justicia (LabJusticia) llevó a cabo esta investigación para entender este fenómeno y, con ello, promover la accesibilidad y equidad en el sistema judicial colombiano. Ciudadanía y tutelas. Perspectivas sobre el acceso a la justicia analiza la experiencia al usar este mecanismo, sea en línea o en persona, con base en métodos cuantitativos y cualitativos. Este libro es una guía para entender mejor cómo se protegen los derechos en el país.
