En el presente libro se publican los resultados del estudio de la dinámica de las cualidades físicas de las jóvenes deportistas en las diferentes fases del ciclo menstrual y se caracterizan las particularidades de la formación de la función menstrual y su relación con el rendimiento en las jóvenes deportistas vallecaucanas. Este estudio, realizado con el aval de la Universidad del Valle y el Instituto Departamental de Educación Física, Deporte y Recreación - Indervalle, se llevó a cabo en el año 2007 con las deportistas y entrenadores en 21 modalidades deportivas, donde se realizó una caracterización del ciclo menstrual de la joven deportista Vallecaucana.
