Economía, territorio y población: construcción de regiones inteligentes y competitivas, el caso Caribe y Santanderes
Esta obra, resultado del proyecto de investigación Diamante Caribe y Santanderes: Análisis de los factores clave de competitividad para la construcción de un modelo de Territorio Inteligente en la región Caribe y Santanderes de Colombia, describe los resultados del análisis territorial llevado a cabo con respecto al subsistema económico. Este análisis tuvo en cuenta tres vectores clave: dinámica demográfica de las ciudades y regiones, el talento humano y los clústeres económicos predominantes. Para el análisis de la demografía del Territorio Diamante se realizó una revisión de datos estadísticos y de estudios disponibles sobre las características básicas de la población, y se abordó la estructura y la dinámica demográfica en los diferentes departamentos, en cada una de las ciudades principales y en el conjunto del ámbito, comparándolas entre sí y con referencias nacionales e internacionales.
