fragmentos que hoy se conocen como Infancia en Berlín
hacia 1900, que se publicaron póstumamente y han tenido
una larga tradición de leerse en clave autobiográfica. El
presente libro propone una lectura distinta de Infancia en
Berlín en la que se destaca su experimentación formal y
sus vínculos con las vanguardias. Este estudio de María
Mercedes Andrade incluye una discusión de la interesante
historia editorial del libro y apartes de las ediciones alemanas
hasta ahora poco difundidos en español. En su investigación
interpreta el célebre Infancia en Berlín de Benjamin
como un nuevo modelo de “experiencia” que, en medio
de la velocidad de la cultura moderna, busca trascender
su fragmentación.
