Vivimos en una sociedad experimental. Desde proyectos ciudadanos a intervenciones artísticas, los conceptos de “experimento” y “experimentación” son utilizados con frecuencia para describir procesos e iniciativas sociales. Especialmente en el ámbito de las políticas públicas, una amplia gama de intervenciones sobre temas de interés público son catalogadas como “experimentales”. Sin embargo, con frecuencia no se explicita en que consiste el carácter experimental de estas iniciativas o cuáles son sus efectos específicos. Este libro propone un nuevo marco analítico para entender estos experimentos políticos, sus alcances y consecuencias, ejemplificando tres experimentos realizados en Chile en las áreas de salud, transporte y contaminación.
