Sin embargo, a pesar de los avances legales conseguidos en los países democráticos, los datos nos demuestran que las trabajadoras siguen teniendo los contratos más precarios, más dificultades para el acceso de ciertos sectores, a la promoción y a la dirección, y mayor tasa de desempleo, temporalidad y contratos a tiempo parcial. Son los sectores laborales más feminizados los que encuentran peores condiciones laborales. Además, las trabajadoras son mayoritariamente las que asumen la conciliación entre la vida familiar y laboral con claras repercusiones en la trayectoria laboral.
