Este libro se basa en el papel de las mujeres en el movimiento sindical en España desde la década de 1960 hasta la actualidad. A partir de historias de vida de sindicalistas del Marco de Jerez, se pretende analizar en qué medida han contribuido las mujeres a la construcción del movimiento sindical y a qué obstáculos han tenido que enfrentarse para participar en la lucha por sus derechos laborales. Conocer las experiencias, percepciones y saberes de estas mujeres resulta fundamental para corregir el sesgo androcéntrico de la historia social, y también para afrontar la necesaria renovación de las organizaciones sindicales. Se trata, en definitiva, de un ejercicio de visibilización de historias que han sido silenciadas en los relatos hegemónicos sobre la Transición, la participación y las relaciones laborales.
