Las humanidades digitales son un campo científico dinámico y diverso, que hasta ahora ha estado representado principalmente por proyectos y publicaciones del norte global. Desde América Latina, diferentes iniciativas de humanidades digitales han abierto nuevos espacios y debates que permiten nutrir discusiones sobre el multilingüismo, la diversidad geográfica, la hegemonía del código, el colonialismo de datos, las infraestructuras digitales y la cooperación norte-sur. ¡Hola, mundo! Humanidades digitales en América Latina plantea una exploración clave: ¿existen unas humanidades digitales producidas en esta región?, y, si es así, ¿cuáles son sus características? Con base en las redes y colaboraciones regionales, este libro aporta pistas sobre temáticas, propuestas metodológicas y aproximaciones pedagógicas, que se recogen en diez contribuciones de investigadores de Argentina, México, Colombia, Chile y Brasil. Se trata de una muestra heterogénea, pero fundamental, para comprender algunos de los problemas, métodos y proyectos de humanidades digitales que se desarrollan hoy en la región.
