Infancia como un relicario
Cuando hablamos de infancia nos referimos tanto a la primera etapa de la vida como a lo que permanece guardado en el arcón de los recuerdos como una imago potente y basal, fundante de los afectos posteriores, y constitutiva de la identidad. La historia, que se aplica por cierto para la infancia, no es cómo fue, sino cómo se la recuerda.
Me he propuesto como objetivo que el mundo académico haga extensivos a la comunidad los resultados y efectos de sus descubrimientos, que los saberes teóricos se tornen “haceres” comunitarios, para que de esa manera puedan tener acceso a ellos quienes no asisten a instituciones educativas formales. De este modo, se busca contribuir a su empoderamiento, a partir de un conocimiento más amplio de la importancia del período de la infancia.
