Destacan aquí las experiencias e investigaciones educativas en el marco de: Openergy Lab para desarrollar recursos educativos abiertos de energía, sistemas de gestión del conocimiento para la visibilidad de la producción energética y cuatro cursos masivos abiertos (MOOCs) de formación en temas de energía. En el momento en que se presenta este libro, los MOOC han contado con más de 100,000 participantes, de más de 51 países (dato de la plataforma EdX, donde destacan diez países por cantidad de participantes: México, España, Perú, Colombia, Argentina, Estados Unidos, Ecuador, Chile, Venezuela y Guatemala).
