John Rawls. Legado de un Pensamiento
Con motivo de la muerte del filosofo norteamericano John Rawls, y con el fin de analizar el alcance de su obra, diversos simposios y congresos fueron organizados en los principales centros del mundo filosófico contemporáneo. Se recogen aquí los ensayos presentados a los eventos organizados por el Grupo Praxis de la Universidad del Valle (marzo de 2003) y el Instituto de Filosofía de la Universidad de Antioquia (abril de 2003), a los cuales asistieron los más connotados conocedores de la obra de Rawls en el medio colombiano. Complementan lo anterior una biografía del autor por el filósofo norteamericano Thomas Pogge, una cronología de su vida intelectual y una bibliografía especializada. Así constituida, esta compilación aspira a contribuir decisivamente a la profundización de los estudios rawlsianos en nuestro medio.
