El 20 de octubre de 2011 ETA anunció el fin definitivo de sus actividades terroristas tras más de cuatro décadas de actividad, durante las cuales ha marcado a la sociedad y la política vasca. Ello ha destapado progresivamente el amplio abanico de sufrimientos, vivencias y emociones que se han producido durante esos años dentro de diferentes grupos. Uno de los colectivos afectados por esta violencia ha sido el Partido Socialista de Euskadi, cuyos cargos públicos, militantes y simpatizantes han estado en su punto de mira. Esta obra tiene como objetivo indagar en qué medida el terrorismo de ETA ha influido en la experiencia de las y los socialistas vascos en estos años. Se trata, en definitiva, de mostrar cómo el socialismo vasco ha navegado durante estos años a través del miedo que se le quería infundir, y cómo ha construido una cultura política de la resistencia.
