Desde 2011, los conciertos de música de cámara en Barranquilla han cobrado notoriedad. Esto ha sido posible gracias a la creación del Festival Internacional de Música de Cámara de Barranquilla (FIMCB), un proyecto de los profesores del Departamento de Música de la Universidad del Norte. El FIMCB presenta las mejores propuestas de música de cámara regional, nacional e internacional, así como una variada oferta de talleres, clases magistrales y conferencias. Este libro recoge los pormenores de las nueve ediciones del FIMCB: los artistas, los escenarios y la actividad académica que lo han posicionado como uno de los eventos musicales más representativos de la ciudad.
