Este libro analiza algunas de las representaciones teatrales más significativas que abordan el pasado reciente de Argentina, concentrándose específicamente en la última dictadura militar. El trabajo se centra en obras dramáticas realizadas en la ciudad de Buenos Aires en el período 1995-2015. Cada una de ellas constituye un acto específico de memoria performativa en relación con el terrorismo de Estado y sus consecuencias, y, también, cada una escenifica formas diversas y contradictorias de narrar la historia del pasado reciente del país, lo que da lugar a memorias escénicas activas y disconformes con las narrativas socialmente establecidas y consolidadas. Con esas interpretaciones históricas se abre, así, una incesante y continua lucha de lecturas y sentidos.
