Las poetas latinoamericanas no han sido leídas realmente en Colombia; escasamente, las propias colombianas. En la raíz de esta investigación se encuentra una propuesta concreta de recepción para nuestros ambientes académicos y amantes de la poesía en general. Lo que se pretende es hacer oír unas voces que no han sido reconocidas ni escuchadas suficientemente en el país. No es simplemente una colección de poemas, esta se adjunta al final: es una antología crítica, en el sentido en que la relectura se sustenta, se explica y se dan pistas para que lectoras y lectores caminen solos en este bosque inmensamente rico de la poesía latinoamericana.
