El objetivo principal del libro es facilitar el conocimiento del Reglamento Electrotécnico para Baja Tensión, (REBT), que es la normativa técnica conforme a la cual se han de realizar las instalaciones eléctricas. Por ese motivo, en su elaboración, se han tenido en cuenta las interpretaciones que figuran en la Guía de Aplicación de REBT, los aspectos más importantes de las Normas UNE que le afectan y se han incluido comentarios, explicaciones y ejemplos en los temas más importantes.
