Estos consejos se basan en siete pilares: las tres virtudes teologales ?fe, esperanza, caridad? y las cuatro cardinales ?fortaleza, justicia, prudencia, templanza?. Las siete virtudes son como el punto de apoyo de la vida verdadera; algo sobre lo que se puede edificar.
