Suite lírica es una esperada edición de la antología poética del polifacético artista barranquillero Hans Federico Neuman (1917-1992), músico, literato y hombre de radio, maestro destacado en todos esos ejercicios. Se reúnen en este volumen los tres libros de poesía que escribió a lo largo de su vida: Anáglifos (1947), con prólogo de su amigo, el “sabio catalán” Ramón Vinyes, libro que tras vagar por años, arribó quizás a mejor puerto con el nombre de Versos extemporáneos (1978), prologado por Rafael Maya; Parábola en forma de canciones, con palabras liminares de Andrés Pardo Tovar, y Retablo (1947), publicado póstumamente por su amigo Jaime Morató Baldi, en 1992.
