Sinopsis
Este libro es el fruto de un ejercicio investigativo realizado entre el Distrito Lasallista de Bogotá y la Universidad de La Salle, en el cual se analizan cuatro aspectos relacionados con la forma como los docentes acompañantes realizan su práctica. Se trata propiamente del quehacer educativo lasallista caracterizado por hacer vida en el aula el ejercicio de acompañar el proceso formativo de los estudiantes a partir de dos figuras representativas e identitarias: el Ángel custodio y el Hermano mayor.
La Misión compartida surge como otra característica del quehacer de los docentes lasallistas. Misión que se consolida en el trabajo realizado “Juntos y por asociación”. Además de los dos aspectos descritos, la importancia que tiene la opción por los pobres en el quehacer del docente lasallista es un elemento fundamental en la práctica de los profesores. El texto se enriquece con imágenes de la historia de la Escuela Técnica Instituto Técnico Central, las cuales dan cuenta de los desarrollos y transformaciones propios de las instituciones lasallistas.
