Sinopsis
Tradición y contemporaneidad es la temática que aborda el presente libro, conceptos con aparentes límites o distanciamientos entre creaciones patrimoniales y actuales de urbanismo y arquitectura, cuyo enfoque reflexivo sintetiza tres subtemas: patrimonio natural y arquitectura, patrimonio cultural urbano y patrimonio cultural arquitectónico. En la actualidad y de manera afortunada, la inclusión de estos conceptos en los procesos proyectuales de nuestros contextos de intervención, son una oportunidad de articulación entre pasado y presente que históricamente han estado presentes, pero que en las últimas dos décadas han potenciado la generación reflexiva de contemporaneidades a partir de los patrimonios naturales y culturales. Gracias al aporte de varios profesionales procedentes de Irán, Japón, España, México, Panamá, Perú y Colombia, en el marco de las Jornadas Internacionales de Reflexión en Patrimonio Cultural 2014 organizados por la Universidad de La Salle y la Facultad de Ciencias del Hábitat (Bogotá, Colombia), los autores permiten consolidar un nuevo escenario de diálogo y reflexión para aproximarse a los roles que nuestra sociedad juega en torno a la salvaguardia y conservación del patrimonio cultural a par ir de creaciones urbanas y arquitectónicas contemporáneas
