Este libro tiene como objetivo ofrecer un abordaje multidisciplinario de los estudios y procesos que tocan el conflicto en nuestros tiempos. Se trata de mostrar la forma indisoluble entre conflicto, cultura y vida cotidiana, en la historia contemporánea de nuestras sociedades, como un hilo conductor que se expresa en contextos de pensamiento y acciones diferentes y que resultan novedosos; un tanto por el valor de los hechos que aborda y otro por la aventura teórica y metodológica desde donde son analizados.
Así el impacto de los hechos provocados por los cambios sociales, económicos, políticos y culturales nos somete cotidianamente a niveles de conflicto, violencia que genera un panorama saturado de información que nos obliga a destacar y orientar el interés por dar respuesta de lo que expresa y de sus consecuencias.
En este contexto, el libro es resultado de un ejercicio multidisciplinario que aborda distintos fenómenos sociales donde el conflicto y la cultura son el eje de estudio y resultado de una experiencia de investigación valiosa que nos permite replicar y entenderla complejidad del mundo social.
