Sinopsis
Los poemas que componen este pequeño libro fueron escritos, en diversos momentos, hace poco más de 25 años. Es por ello que la mayor parte de lo aquí escrito alude a impresiones juveniles de la autora, que lo mismo se refieren a la muerte, el dolor, la desesperanza, el sinsentido de existir o el olvido, como intentan aproximarse a la reflexión irónica, la sencillez de la alegría amorosa, la plenitud de la memoria y la potencia de los afectos y los recuerdos familiares e infantiles.
Ya sea desde la extrañeza cotidiana ante la vida y la muerte, de las figuraciones de lo divino inexistente e inverosímil o desde cierta inocencia sentimental, lúdica y traviesa, este poemario recrea la mirada de una joven mujer en la que se expresa una sensación de piedad y compasión hacia la fragilidad de la naturaleza humana. Se trata de las elucidaciones (alucinadas) de una especie de mujer-mutante: una sirena con alas.
Consuelo Patricia Martínez Lozano (1969) nació en San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora, en el desierto fronterizo del norte de México. Es doctora en Ciencias Sociales con especialidad en Antropología social y profesora investigadora en la Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí (UASLP).
