Sinopsis
BORGES, CREADOR DE DIOS persigue a un personaje clave en la narrativa borgeana: Dios. Este análisis aporta un elemento más allá de los señalamientos que ha hecho la crítica sobre los juegos literarios de Jorge Luis Borges en torno a temas metafísicos. Se configura a Dios como protagonista, personaje referencial y personaje metahierofánico, término acuñado por la autora para dar cuenta del corpus en el que Dios se encuentra presente cambiando por completo la existencia de los protagonistas: aquel que se halla frente a Dios como objeto metahierofánico no puede regresar a su anterior existencia jamás. Tal como señaló el mismo Borges sobre un error de traducción de la Biblia inglesa: lo más preciso para pensar a Dios nombrándose a sí mismo sería I am that am I (Soy el que Es) en vez de I am who I am (Soy quien Es). Con base en la misma observación del escritor argentino, Dios no queda restringido en este libro a un alguien, sino que se le extiende a un algo completamente perturbador a lo largo de los textos ficcionales.
