Una revisión de ciertas problemáticas para la conformación social en el presente que México y América Latina experimenta. Se abordan temas como la transculturación y la interculturalidad, los conflictos derivados de la convivencia en contextos multiculturales en nuestra región; también se analizan discursos del poder que tienen como objetivo persuadir y convencer a la población, y quehan provocado el surgimiento de discursos alternativos y contra hegemónicos. Uno de los aspectos fundamentales en los escritos que se reúnen en el presente libro es la relación que guardan con los temas y problemas en América Latina, entre los que se encuentran la incompresión de las formas de vida de los integrantes de las Naciones originarias, así como las dificultades que experimentan los pobladores de las ciudades, También se hallan presentes los análisis socioculturales de diversos aspectos que caracterizan a los pueblos latinoamericanos y su manera de experimentar el mundo.
