Sinopsis
El libro Comunicación y Prospectiva es resultado del esfuerzo conjunto de las universidades: UTE, Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, sus sedes Ibarra y Santo Domingo, La Universidad Particular de Loja y la Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María. El texto está compuesto por 12 capítulos agrupados en tres grandes campos vinculados a las tendencias actuales y futuras de la educación en comunicación, las narrativas digitales y la comunicación corporativa. El libro plantea una mirada epistemológica y de análisis de casos aterrizados en Ecuador y Latinoamérica. En los capítulos que tratan sobre las tendencias actuales y futuras de la educación en comunicación, encontramos reflexiones con base en la literatura y en la investigación académica sobre cuál ha de ser la formación de la comunicación en los entornos inmediatos y futuros para responder a las necesidades de la sociedad y para promover que esta sea más participativa. Se tiene en consideración la historia, la evolución y el ecosistema en línea, así como a los actores directos de la comunicación (estudiantes, graduados, gestores y empleadores). Se pone de manifiesto la importancia de las investigaciones en comunicación con el propósito de diseñar proyectos académicos integrales, gracias a los cuales los comunicadores puedan ejercer su profesión desde el periodismo hasta la comunicación organizacional.
