Este es un libro de entrevistas seleccionadas de mis archivos como investigador y divulgador de las ciencias sociales. El material está dividido en tres partes: la primera dedicada a las artes y al entretenimiento, la segunda navega entre la religión y la ciencia, y la tercera, no podía faltar, dedicada a la política y los políticos. En más de una ocasión la entrevista se trasladó a la franca conversación. En el texto, Alfonso Pérez Romo, entusiasmado, reflexiona sobre la belleza; Jorge Galván sobre el teatro y Martín Andrade sobre la arquitectura. El español Fernando Fernández expone, con inteligencia, sus puntos de vista sobre la fiesta brava; Arturo Lona Reyes, un obispo extraordinario, delibera sobre Dios y la religión, y Lorenzo Meyer medita sobre la política, sólo por mencionar algunos ejemplos.
