Sinopsis
El tiempo se mide de muchas maneras, casi de tantos modos como aquellos en que se percibe y puede ser descrito. En esta Crónica de una abdicada obstinación se narra el pasar del tiempo, o quizá sea mejor decir un modo peculiar de percibir su paso: una manera en la que tránsito e impresión no se distinguen, en la que la realidad y la fantasía se funden, como de por sí pasa en todos los días de nuestras vidas. La pregunta acerca de si lo que se cuenta es uno o más años queda siempre abierta.
En este volumen se cuenta también una historia de amor. Su ocurrencia está marcada por las estaciones del año, pero su acontecer está narrado a través de una vastedad de sensaciones y sentimientos dispares, confundidos y profundos. Éstos –y no otra cosa– determinan el caminar del tiempo. Y es el tiempo lo que signa la singularidad propia de la historia y de sus personajes.
