Sinopsis
El acompañamiento espiritual es uno de los servicios más importantes y de mayor responsabilidad dentro de la Iglesia. Para que tenga calidad evangélica es decisiva la persona del acompañante: no sólo, ni principalmente, sus habilidades o sus cualidades personales, sino, de modo especial, las actitudes de fondo con las que el acompañante afronta su ministerio. De ello trata esta obra, del acompañante, de su espiritualidad; de sus actitudes y talante que, al modo de Jesús, ayudan al encuentro personal de cada persona con Dios. Desde páginas concretas del evangelio se iluminan algunas de esas actitudes: la fe, la humildad, la abnegación, la eclesialidad… También las “tentaciones” que pueden sentir en su relación con el acompañado o algo tan complejo como es acompañar las situaciones de sufrimiento.
