Sinopsis
Desde una perspectiva jurídica el Derecho Penal se define como el conjunto de normas estatales que se refieren al delito y a sus consecuencias jurídicas.
Es en torno a esa definición que se organizan los contenidos de esta obra incluyendo, después de unos temas introductorios que enmarcan el Derecho Penal como rama del ordenamiento jurídico y como ciencia, la Teoría de la Ley Penal, la Teoría Jurídica del Delito y las Consecuencias Jurídicas que derivan del mismo, para concluir analizando la responsabilidad penal de las personas jurídicas. Es decir, se aborda de manera completa lo que suele conocerse como Parte General del Derecho Penal, aquello que es común a todos los delitos, y cuya regulación se contiene esencialmente en el Libro I del Código Penal.
Todos los contenidos normativos del libro están actualizados a junio de 2022, y también se recoge la doctrina jurisprudencial más relevante y reciente.
