Sinopsis
En esta investigación estudiamos a la cultura obrera en Ciudad Juárez. Para ello, indagamos dimensiones como la vida cotidiana, la migración, la vida extra fabril en esta ciudad que hoy es la ciudad más peligrosa de México y del mundo, hasta abordar la cultura en el trabajo en las maquiladoras de exportación. Es decir, abordamos diversas dimensiones en las que transcurre el diario bregar de este sector de la clase obrera. Hemos intentado un acercamiento a los modos de vida de los obreros en las maquiladoras de Ciudad Juárez que viven en la subordinación, tanto en el contexto urbano como en el fabril, y cómo, a veces, ellos se despojan de esa subordinación y luchan por rehacerse y por buscar una situación no sólo menos opresiva, sino incluso esperanzadora, a través de caminos inesperados.
