Segundo título de un joven autor que, por un lado, ofrece un ascenso indudable en su propuesta lírica y, por otro, lo confirma como una voz bien diferenciada en el actual panorama de la poesía mexicana reciente. Méndez logra crear un entretejido en donde todo es relevante: personas, animales, ámbito vegetal, objetos cósmicos. Nada es grande, nada es pequeño; por tanto, se plantea un desacuerdo en relación con ciertos valores de la posmodernidad.
