Una trágica historia llena de violaciones a los derechos fundamentales obliga a que en Colombia la investigación sobre Educación en Derechos Humanos sea un deber.Esta obra apunta de manera especial a una de las categorías que originaron el Plan Nacional para la Educación en Derechos Humanos (PLANEDH, 2007), referida a la necesidad que existe de formar agentes educativos en el tema de derechos, y plantea propuestas didácticas sobre este tema. Se le ofrecen al lector ocho capítulos que son a su vez ocho caminos distintos para abordar el asunto de la educación en derechos humanos desde la discusión filosófica y pedagógica, pasando por la mediación didáctica hasta llegar a las apuestas metodológicas en investigación.
