Sinopsis
La presente obra tiene como propósito principal dar a conocer las ventajas de la bioconstrucción desde un enfoque sustentable. Los autores de la publicación multidisciplinaria pretenden incorporar el adobe como producto de consumo cultural y arquitectónico, mediante el cual se vislumbra el papel fundamental que tienen las mujeres en la habitabilidad, construcción y mantenimiento de las viviendas con adobe.
Si bien, el objetivo general es analizar la viabilidad en la reutilización de residuos de agave como material con alto valor agregado en la construcción de adobe para el fomento de la sustentabilidad, también se propone enfatizar su valor simbólico identitario en el contexto mexicano.
