Sinopsis
El posgrado en Imagen, Arte, Cultura y Sociedad es resultado de una colaboración muy estrecha entre grupos de investigación coordinados por Carmelo Pinto Baro, quien fue catedrático de la Universidad de Barcelona.
Este programa académico, que reúne a catedráticos e investigadores de diferentes universidades de México y es albergado por la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos (uaem), tiene el objetivo de formar recursos humanos en investigación de alto nivel, con un enfoque transdisciplinar, que analicen la construcción de la imagen en relación con los procesos socioculturales y planteen posibles soluciones a las problemáticas de su impacto en el arte, la cultura y la sociedad.
Este tercer volumen de la colección El Impacto de la Imagen en el Arte, la Cultura y la Sociedad incluye siete ensayos de investigadores y estudiantes de maestría y doctorado, seleccionados con base en su calidad académica y su aporte a la discusión básica de nuestro interés: la imagen en sus diversos ámbitos. Esta obra aporta puntos de referencia para discusiones futuras, a través de los textos diversos autores.
