Sinopsis
Con estos fragmentos de filosofía, el autor nos invita a una conversación que él mismo entabla con sus lecturas, a ésa que realiza consigo mismo, y a la que querría iniciar, a partir de aquéllas, con quienes nos convirtamos en lectores de estas páginas. Se trataría, en efecto, de una sola, en la medida en que en un diálogo logrado los participantes pueden identificarse unos con otros, confundirse, a la vez que distinguirse a sí mismos para sí. El coloquio que el lector albergaría abre precisamente con la pregunta de si es posible conversar a través de la escritura, para luego propagarse a reflexiones y cuestionamientos sobre la lectura, la soledad, la tauromaquia, la afición al tabaco, los viajes, Dios y la fe y, por supuesto, el luto, por mencionar algunos. Así, estos ensayos intentan enfocar aspectos diversos de la cotidianidad que nos ciñe (en ocasiones hasta la asfixia), para proyectar sobre ellos una luz que los muestre con un aspecto distinto del que solemos atribuirles, o que simplemente habíamos pasado por alto.
