Sinopsis
Este libro es un experimento que dialoga con la propuesta de una antropografía de la violencia a partir del caso de Urabá. Evitando la enunciación descarnada del horror y algunas tendencias de la “violentología”, busca dinamizar las narrativas de algunos eventos, de los momentos de los personajes y de las vivencias del investigador en el día a día. Al señalar cómo la violencia se torna matriz de las relaciones sociales, se identifica una orientación temporal denominada presente permanente, que es constituyente de un horizonte cosmológico en esta región, considerada una de las más violentas del país desde hace más de cuatro décadas. Los capítulos discuten algunos principios relativos al sistema de intercambio; la caracterización étnica definida por el vínculo al origen o a la procedencia; las dinámicas relacionadas con el cambio de afiliación de los combatientes y la diferenciación entre tierra y territorio, vinculada tanto a los estereotipos acerca de la “tierra caliente” y de las “zonas rojas” como a determinadas concepciones sobre los procesos de colonización, conquista y pacificación.
