Sinopsis
Hannah Arendt es, sin lugar a dudas, una de las pensadoras paradigmáticas del siglo XX. Su comprensión de la condición humana en el contexto más oscuro de la modernidad, la II Guerra Mundial, suscitó apasionantes debates tanto en el mundo de la academia como en el ambiente de lo que algunos denominan la Realpolitk. El presente texto quiere aprovechar la potencia de su obra, estableciendo algunas discusiones que oscilan entre lo moral – el origen del mal -, lo político – la responsabilidad política que cabe a las sociedades modernas – y lo cognitivo – relacionado con la emergencia de subjetividades críticas o acríticas -. Para ello recuperaremos a Arendt en diálogo con otros dos pensadores eminentemente modernos, como lo son Kant y Weber, que más que dar origen a su pensamiento, permiten historizar su reflexión en un sentido más pleno.
