En los dos primeros se ubican las coordenadas generales de las características y efectos de la concurrencia electoral, así como del significado de los comicios presidenciales del verano de ese año. Estos trabajos sirven de marco para el análisis de los resultados de las elecciones concu- rrentes verificadas en los estados de Colima, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Morelos, Nuevo León, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí y Sonora. Se trata de una valiosa contribución al entendimiento de los procesos electorales en una doble dimensión federal y local.
