Sinopsis
Los textos que componen el presente libro son el resultado de un esfuerzo colectivo y dislocado por reflexionar en torno a la relación entre las distintas facetas del problema de la enajenación con la modernidad capitalista. El punto de partida del proyecto fue la suposición de que el problema de la enajenación constituía una experiencia transversal de la vida moderna. La pluralidad de aproximaciones teóricas que se han gestado en torno a ese concepto durante los dos últimos siglos y hasta la fecha da cuenta, precisamente, de su persistencia e importancia.
Si la constelación de reflexiones aquí compilada muestra algo, es el hecho de que el complejo entramado explorable de relaciones entre el fenómeno de la enajenación y la modernidad capitalista tiene un locus teórico común en el universo político de las relaciones humanas. Si lo político en la modernidad capitalista se juega en facultad de participar de forma consciente y voluntaria en la formación y/o transformación de la sociabilidad, y el problema de la enajenación atañe directamente a esta cuestión, entonces este problema resulta medular para la reflexión política de nuestro tiempo.
