Sinopsis
En el primer libro de Estética Modal (Tecnos, 2016) pudimos exponer las bases de la produccion artística y la experiencia estética apoyándonos en las especificidades e interacciones de los modos de lo Necesario, lo Posible y lo Efectivo juntamente con sus correspondientes modos negativos: lo Contingente, lo Imposible y lo Inefectivo.
Se tratará ahora, con este segundo libro de Estética Modal de darle continuidad a ese intento de acercar el pensamiento de la complejidad al ámbito de la Estética. A tal fin, se proponen diferentes herramientas de análisis ya mucho más cercanas a la experiencia de quien se halla en contacto con lo artístico y lo estético. Dichas herramientas se estudiarán en función de su carácter cognitivo, ontológico o axiológico. Hablaremos por tanto en términos de estratos -que organizan lo que hay-, categorías -que nos permiten conocerlo e intervenirlo- y valores -mediante los que organizamos nuestra reacción al respecto-. Pero tan importante como distinguir estos tres registros del pensamiento estético será aprender a hacerlos trabajar conjuntamente, formando "modos de relación" característicos. Modos que hacemos y que nos hacen, que atraviesan la historia del arte y nos atraviesan a nosotros.
