Por medio de una cuidadosa metodología, siete capítulos con
sus respectivos subtemas, anexos, gráficas y tablas para apoyar
la investigación, las doctoras Ariadna Crisantema Martínez
Hernández y Martha Leticia Guevara-Sanginés proyectan en
Formas del capital. Origen de la desigualdad de oportunidades para
acceder a la educación superior una serie de postulados acerca del
contexto de la educación superior en México, desde el lugar
que ocupa y ha ocupado la educación superior en la sociedad
y las características de los aspirantes a este grado educativo
(niveles socioeconómicos, condiciones familiares), hasta las
deducciones obtenidas mediante la formación universitaria
(posibles cambios en los niveles socioeconómicos), políticas
educativas —históricas y actuales—, información estadística y
resultados de hipótesis.
Con particulares secciones dirigidas al estado de la
educación superior en Guanajuato y al papel de la Universidad
de Guanajuato, aunque no por ello limitada a estos espacios,
la actual investigación constituye un aporte trascendental
a los estudios sobre educación, al tiempo que establece problemáticas
y visualiza soluciones, identifica directrices de análisis
y profundiza en aspectos medulares del proceso de la educación
superior
