Ambos tipos de compromisos se han convertido en una especie de formas a priori con las que se observan e interpretan las acciones de los Estados para ser dictaminados en su grado de responsabilidad y cumplimiento social para el bienestar de sus poblaciones. Este libro aborda el tema a través de las siguientes cuestiones: ¿qué se entiende por los derechos humanos desde la perspectiva del desarrollo como crecimiento económico?, ¿cuáles posturas éticas se relacionan con el sentido de la existencia humana, bajo circunstancias de vida dictadas por el desarrollo económico?; es decir, ante la problemática de la destrucción de la vida a causa de las actividades de la economía de la acumulación, la ganancia, el mercado y el comercio capitalistas, ¿qué ofrece el enfoque del derecho humano al desarrollo para la existencia humana?
