Sinopsis
Por qué si Tenancingo, Villa Guerrero y Zumpahuacan compartieron una serie de procesos locales, y, más aún, por qué si estos municipios fueron impactados por los mismos procesos macroestructurales, sus relaciones de poder han tomado caminos distintos. Para tal efecto es pertinente analizar tanto la estructura de poder como la cultura política, pues con la primera comprendemos cómo operan los constreñimientos materiales en los procesos de toma de decisiones y con la segunda daré cuenta de la construcción de las ideas con relación en el poder.
Asimismo, interesa explorar las transformaciones en los andamiajes institucionales de la estructura de poder, pero en particular los notables cambios que experimento el Estado mexicano en unas décadas; pasando de un modelo construido en el siglo XIX, a los embates de la Revolución zapatista y al nuevo Estado mexicano con una orientación agrarista.
