Sinopsis
Doctor en Estudios Latinoamericanos, magíster en Artes con mención en Musicología y profesor de Música con estudios superiores en guitarra clásica formado principalmente en la Universidad de Chile. En la actualidad su principal línea de investigación se desarrolla en torno a la música para la infancia en el Chile contemporáneo. Asimismo, ha trabajado con el fenómeno de la diplomacia cultural y las representaciones de América Latina a través de la música del cine clásico de Hollywood y, en un plano más pedagógico, con las estrategias de enseñanza de la apreciación musical. Desde el 2012 es académico del Instituto de Música de la Universidad Alberto Hurtado, donde ha ocupado cargos como la dirección de la carrera Pedagogía en Música y formado parte del comité curricular institucional.
