Sinopsis
A través de una saga familiar vertebrada en el desatino, el humor pedestre y la ironía sexista, cuatro generaciones de Montalvo-Zamarripa convergen en una ciudad de México signada ya por la catástrofe. La corrupción, la carencia de convicciones y las enfermedades sociales que caracterizaron al sexenio salinista, son el marco donde se mueve una clase media que no está acostumbrada a mirarse en el espejo.
Publicada por primera vez hace más de quince años, La casa del ahorcado (finalista del Premio Planeta 1992) sigue vigente como visión caricaturizada y grotesca de los inolvidables años que dieron al traste con las esperanzas de un país.
