La escuela y sus retos: experiencias de intervención en educación básica
Sinopsis
La presente obra reúne algunas experiencias de intervención educativa por parte de alumnos egresados de la maestría en Educación Básica, impartida por la Unidad 098 de la Universidad Pedagógica Nacional. El propósito es exponer los alcances y retos que supone llevar a la práctica un conjunto de acciones para mejorar los procesos escolares en el marco de la Reforma Educativa en México. Bajo esta intención, los trabajos expuestos abordan asuntos relacionados con la profesionalización docente, la gestión escolar, el desarrollo de los aprendizajes, la supervisión del trabajo académico y la incorporación de las tecnologías de la información al currículum. Cada uno de estos temas actúa como un referente clave en los procesos de cambio educativo que nuestro país ha implementado en los últimos años como parte de un proyecto modernizador en los albores del siglo XXI. Las actuales exigencias sociales de formación a nivel global, junto con los mecanismos institucionales para regular el funcionamiento de las escuelas de educación básica, son los insumos que dan marco a la reflexión y a la necesidad de elaborar propuestas de intervención para resignificar la labor de los maestros.
