Sinopsis
En la presente obra se abordan las ideas de Carlos Astrada, uno de los filósofos más importantes de Argentina en la primera mitad del siglo XX, quien se dedicó a reflexionar sobre la esencia de la argentinidad, debido a que, en su opinión, los jóvenes sentían más afinidad con las raíces étnicas y culturales de Europa que con las de su tierra de nacimiento. De tal modo que, para estimular un sentido de pertenencia y de amor por la patria, Astrada analizó el poema Martín Fierro de José Hernández, con el cual pudo expresar cómo la figura del gaucho representa el amor por la tierra, la familia y las tradiciones.
